The Beginning of the CBD Movement

Only recently has it entered mainstream attention. All of this began with a special little girl who decided to speak out about medical cannabis. A normal child laughs around 300 times a day. Until the age of five, Charlotte Figi was that normal girl. And then she stopped laughing. Charlotte had lost her ability to communicate due to a rare and severe form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. Dravet syndrome affects roughly 1 in 30,000 infants around the world. Most patients begin their lives as normal healthy children until their development quickly starts to regress. Intense seizures over take a child as young as 3 months old....

My Confession for the Love of CBD!!!

Photo: JNobriga Personally I am not one for drugs or smoking.  I may rarely drink. But suffering pain for what seems like 8 years now do to chronic migraines, lower back pain, and Fibromyalgia has taken me on a long road of medications, and pain killers. Recently, almost 4 years now I was diagnosed with a rare disease called a Tarlov Cyst to add to my pains.  It's a cyst that grows between the top layers of the main nerve in your spine. One percent of the world population has this disease and the United States has only 2 specialists that do this type of surgery. In the past 2 years it has grown from a 3mm cyst to 3cm x 2.5cm cyst. Most people have this type of cyst but they are not symptomatic so most doctors over look it. Mine had to be the one that causes symptoms and pain. I have been asked this question from a few people that are interested in using CBD Oil as an alternative to smoking Marijuana. Being that it is healthy and a legal alternative I decided to do some research on this topic. Many people are tested for illicit drug use for various reasons. Drug testing is mandatory for federal employees, and even though its not required, more employers are implementing some type of screening.
