So, to clear up the differences between hemp oil(hemp seed oil) and cannabis or CBD Oil I decided to research and clarify this for the newbies and oldies.

Hemp and Cannabis: The Differences

When trying to figure out the difference between hemp and marijuana, the fact is this: both the hemp and marijuana comes from the same species of plant. CANNABIS
Both varieties are from the same genus, Cannabis, and some species, Cannabis Sativa. There are many other varieties that fall in with in the species Cannabis Sativa.
The maid difference between Hemp and Cannabis is the number of cannabinoids. Both contain THC and CBD.
There are hundreds of compounds in both but understanding THC and cannabidiol (CBD) is the main point to understanding it all. THC is responsible to giving you that high or stoned feeling. CBD is not psychoactive, so no high.

Cannabis Oil

Cannabis Oil is made from the resin of the female cannabis plant. After it is dissolved in solvent, the solvent evaporates and leaves a concentrated extract. This extract is THC and/or CBD. It can then be mixed with hemp seed oil or another type of oil to help with digestion.

Hemp Seed Oil

Hemp Seed Oil is taken from the seeds. Industrial Hemp is the only plant that is used for this type of oil. The seeds are cold pressed to create an oil.
There is no cannabinoids in the oil since the seeds are not psychoactive.  Hemp Seed Oil is legal in most countries and can be found in food markets along with other oils such as olive and coconut oil.
Hemp Seed Oil is high in unsaturated fats(Omega 3, and 6). It can be used in products such as lotions, soaps, etc. The seed itself is also used by some in salads.

CBD Oil

CBD Oil is an specific oil that doesn’t contain THC. It is extracted from the cannabis flowers, mostly from hemp strains high in CBD. The extract is then mixed with hemp seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or other types to help with ingestion. CBD Oils are non-psychoactive.
